“We sail to Gaza to break the seige”, activists and celebrities set to join the Sumud flotilla

In Tunis, dozens of activists are attending their last training session on how to break the Israeli blockade. They are set to join the Sumud Flotilla and sail for Gaza. Among them, some familiar faces. Has been a duty for us as the Mandela family to continue to be the voice of oppressed nations and the most vulnerable across the globe. And this is why I am here. Mandlera Mandela joins a number of international personalities, politicians and activists, including Greta Thunberg, American actor Susan Sarendon, French actress Adelanel, and French politician Tom but a few. Despite Israeli threats to treat flatillaa participants as terrorists, they are all determined to get their message heard and reach the people of Gaza. Dozens of people are dying of hunger. It’s absolutely unacceptable. Our aim is to reach Gaza. The Israeli government threatens to imprison us, but it’s no surprise from a government behaving like terrorists. More than 45 ships are now part of the mission with delegations from 44 countries across the world. In order to increase their diplomatic protection, nationalities are spread across the boats, ensuring that each crew will get equal treatment. After a short turnaround because of bad weather, the flatillaa has left Barcelona and will stop in Tunis on Saturday. The boats should reach Gaza midepptember where they hope to break the Israeli blockade, deliver humanitarian aid, and draw global attention to the plight of Palestinians.

Nelson Mandela’s grandson and French actress Adele Haenel are the latest addition to the Global Sumud Flotilla as it sets sail for Gaza. Dozens of vessels are expected to set sail from the ports of Catania in Sicily and Tunis, joining the Barcelona fleet in what organizers described as a “powerful, united action” to challenge Israel’s blockade on the strip. 1. It's sooo brave! Thank you for sailing, for trying to break the siege! Our thoughts are with you and our eyes are on you! ❤

  2. This reminds me of the peoples and children crusades of the 15 century when 10s of thousands of poor people and children traveled to the middle east from europe to free Jerusalem from muslim occupation

    It didn’t end well

  3. It's good atleast somebody's doing something, the governments of all these 44 countrys are showing us all its time for new political systems and leadership, the kids needs the worlds help before it's too late, and if these people has to go instead of our governments it's not looking good for the starving kids, so it looks like the governments of 44 country's are just gonna sit by and watch all these kids starve to death, the world needs new leadership when this is what things has come to, this is very obvious

  4. Mandela son And all sumud flotilla movement salute you. The world wide population I appreciated your efforts. Humanity movement salute you

  5. The Flotilla serves to divert the attention of pacifists from the war of the EU Willing, who are acting undisturbed
