Wow, never knew Bangor Cathedral was such a happening place!
Bangor Cathedral is wild
Full on board with the choir here. Private Eye has covered this naked corruption extensively. It’s outrageous that the response is to consider sacking the choir and then expect them to do the job as volunteers
“In the garden of Eden”, by I. Ron Butterfly
It was an absolute Bangor though
“The canticle’s lyrics included “Lord, how long shall the ungodly triumph?” and “How long shall all wicked doers speak so disdainfully?””
Sounds like textbook Christianity to me. The Jesus who threw the moneylenders out of the temple doesn’t get much reference these days.
Right after I leave (failed uni) as well
The words of Psalm 94, was it a contemporary setting?
Glad to see the choir’s not changed since I was a Chorister there as a kiddo. Mr. Goodwin’s having a chuckle wherever he is…

I barely know her!
Brilliant song though, an absolute Bangor
love it ^^
Protest by hymn.
I feel that is so very, *very* Welsh.
I feel so fucking proud!
As an aside: “Bangor Cathedral, which was [criticised earlier this year over a culture of excessive drinking, sexual promiscuity and inappropriate banter](https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jun/27/archbishop-of-wales-stands-down-over-bangor-cathedral-scandal)”
