We did the same thing. When we got hurt, we just brushed it off and kept on playing. Today, if your kid gets hurt doing this, it turns into a huge issue over who is responsible by the authorities!

This brings back a memory for me, I would have been a child in the 80s, I remember my friends making a ramp, it was my turn to go over it, as my front wheel approached the top of the ramp, it dropped off the block, However my front wheel made it over and the back wheel dropped suddenly I slipped, and the bar and my tiny balls collided..

Great times altogether that ramp is exactly like the ones we made, puling wheelies,skids and endo’s. One of our friends was fearless he was good on the bike anything he done was always at top speed. I wish i was young again..

Judging by the style of the buildings it’s more likely mid 90s. Looks the spit of the estate i grew up in which was built around 94.
As fuck. Remember ramps? I forgot about all the shitty ramps and how much fun they were and all the times I would eat shit when the cinder block moved or the shitty wood broke as you were going over it. Great times.
Sure health and safety didn’t come to Ireland till 1998
