Sarah Ferguson opened up about an unforgettable experience in her life after King Charles welcomed back his son, Prince Harry, to the royal house, while shutting the doors on Prince Andrew.
On September 11, the Duchess of York released an emotional statement, mourning the tragic attack which took place in New York City in 2001.
Sarah remembered the precious lives “lost and forever changed” while revealing that she was also in the city, witnessing the heartbreaking event.
In her message on Instagram, the mother of Prince Beatrice and Princess Eugenie wrote, “I was in New York at the time, and like so many, I will never forget the shock, the heartbreak, and the extraordinary courage I witnessed that day.”
She added, “Out of unimaginable tragedy came stories of kindness, unity, and resilience that continue to inspire us all.”
At the end of her message, Sarah sent her heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the families who lost loved ones.
She lauded the “survivors, and the first responders whose bravery and selflessness remind us of the very best of humanity.” The Duchess of York concluded her note, stating, “We must never forget.”
It’s important to note that Sarah’s message was sent following a meeting between King Charles and the Duke of Sussex at Clarence House.
