More information has come to light about why the strike failed to kill the Hamas leadership. Apparently, they had left their phones in the negotiating room, which was hit by the strike, and were praying in another room. It’s hard to believe their phones weren’t secure, but that’s the claim being made by this israeli journalist. Also he said Mossad wasn’t in, which would be believable since a other Israeli political figures as well as parents of the hostages have came out and condemn the strike.

I guess we will see how much a guarantee from Trump is worth. Will Israel do it again? He seems to have conveyed to the Qataris that he won’t allow it, imagine the damage to his reputation when Israel continues their reckless belligerency and barbaric targeting of diplomatic negotiators, something even the barbarians saw as dishonorable.
It would not surprise me if we will be seeing a round two in a shape or form, assassinations or so. Doesn’t have to be a missile strike but it can be assassins. Anyway, it is also the fault of Qatari for trusting Americans to protect them.
The most hilarious intel failure was that the Israelis were locked on to the individual phones of the negotiators. It just so happened that the time they chose to strike coincided with prayer time so the team left their phones and went to another area to pray together. Israel would have known this if they ever watched older men pray, there is no way they are taking their bulky ass phone to go pray when you have to go up and down a dozen times, so they don’t tend to pray with their devices on their body if possible. Nobody wants a disruptive ringtone interrupt prayer time either. The bombs then took out some low level people and a random Qatari security dude that were close to where the phones were.
What Israel did accomplish was basically get condemnation from most of the planet and set the whole Abraham Accords on fire.
Also, no GCC country is ever going to fully trust the US because they let this happen while having a full fledged base with air defense merely 30 minutes drive from where the bombing occured. The security guarantee means nothing whenever Israel decides to attack.
