How much money should I budget to change this WC. I am planning to install a standing Shower, a Wand WC, a smaller Waschbecken, and complete change of the floor and walls. I am planning to buy and give the order to Hornbach.

  1. Hornbach does bathrooms?

That said, I paid roughly 20k for a small bathroom roughly the same size a few years ago.

  2. are the water lines for the shower and the drain for it already existing?

if yes that can save you some money but overall redoing all of this will easily cost 10 – 20k€ depending on what you are going with exactly.

  3. Someone in my family recently had their whole bathroom made new. It of course depends on the materials and appliances you choose, but without choosing anything fancy, you’re looking at around 15,000 – 20,000 €, I’d say.

  4. Hornbach might give it to a cheap subcontractor and keep part of the money. If thats the case it might be better to directly hire a contractor with a good reputation.

  5. I just did that with a local contractor specialized on bathroom renovation. Everything was ripped off and built up again (even the ceiling and dry walls). In contrast to your case it also includes a bathtub. It was roughly 30k€ in the end.

  6. 20k if you got basic.

want better tiles, a toilet with an integrated bidet and lightingspots? better plan 25k

want that cool rounded duravit washbasin with an integrated cabinet? no you dont. that fucker is 6 grand alone.
