  4. This is tragic, imagine you are father fighting in a war so your daughter can be safe, meanwhile she is killed at the other side of the planet by some random maniac, and her death is hijacked by foreign president that is actively throwing sticks under your feet while you fight that war

  12. It’s strange that they couldn’t make an exception.
    There are many Ukrainian businessmen of military age on vacation in Europe, and it seems that the father of the deceased girl is more important for Ukraine’s defense. 

     It’s a pity that no one in Zelensky’s administration could think of showing positive kindness.

  14. This idea that people could freely just leave a country during a war is absurd. Especially for a draft dodger, there would be 0 change he would return to ukraine.

    Ukraine letting working age women leave the country has been one of the biggest mistakes they’ve done.

  15. This isn’t anything new for military associates. When active service though the absence is covered by retired soldiers and those based near by.
    It is a rather bad missed opportunity PR wise that they don’t fill the church with American soldiers as a show of solidarity and sympathy that it occurred on their soil.
