The fuck is the deal with Austrian sprayers vandalizing every single hiking trail?

  1. It’s the blood of german hikers killed by our cows, as a warning.

  2. It is all the mountain trolls, the Swiss do it too.

At least our vandals only paint roundabouts

  3. NETT HIER, ABER WAREN SIE SCHON MAL IN BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG

  4. Ah, yes, the Czech standard used since 1888 (in Czech lands), just with inverted colors. Cheap, easy to implement, easy to understand.

    You’re welcome!

  5. On land it means hiking trail, but on sea it means environmental protection zone. One encourages you to go there while the other prohibits it. Great play of the sign makers.

  6. Which of the recent posts in r/DeutscheWanderer pertains to you, Hans, to be so mad?

  7. Leave them be. We all remember what happened with the last Austrian painter that was denied painting.

  8. Finally something I can help with. I’m in the hiking community, been doing it for 20 years. Started multiple clubs across Europe. Won two awards for community outreach through hiking programs. What you see here is a signal that there is a safe house in case of emergency ahead on the trail. Red on top is danger, usually weather related, white is the safe house, red at the bottom is danger again as the man that runs the safe house has an inbred family in the basement.

  9. They do that on bridges above rivers too, they really do want an access to the sea

  10. It’s a sign to warn you that you’re getting closer and closer to an austrian basement

  11. I would love to upload a funny picture but the Reddit app is being an absolute pain in the ass right now.

The thumbnail of the picture I want to upload is on the folder where it is, but when I click on it the picture just isn’t there 😤

You’ll just have to imagine the picture: there is a trail in the west of Sweden that uses orange markers, so the joke is that it’s the bloody **Dutch!**

This app is so garbage at times.

  12. Loads of Belarusians doing so in my area. Can’t even bother to update to the new flag, smh

  13. In Norway we have a lot of trails marked with “T” so that the locals know it leads to a Trap.

There is a secret sign that most Norwegians will know of just before the actual trap. That way we can help by beeing decoys and help feed the trap. We just take a turn away or walk around the marked trail at the right time.
