Something extraordinary is about to happen in the heart of the Eternal City. St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican will be transformed into an immense stage, hosting for one unique evening a great public concert that is free and open to all. On Saturday, Sept. 13 at 9 p.m., the square will welcome world-renowned artists such as Pharrell Williams, Andrea Bocelli, Karol G and K-Pop superstar BamBam, starring in the show ‘Grace for the World,’ along with a large audience who can attend for free by registering on the website.
A once-in-a-lifetime event with live music, an international lineup, more than 3,000 drones and a message of fraternity destined to resonate around the world. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and access will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating sold out immediately, but it is still possible to reserve a space to attend the standing room only concert. St. Peter’s Square will be ready to welcome attendees starting at 6 p.m.
Don’t miss what promises to be a historic evening
A historic night at the Vatican
The concert, codirected by Pharrell and Bocelli as executive producers, will feature the Voices of Fire gospel choir, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Teddy Swims, Jelly Roll, Clipse, Angélique Kidjo and an international choir of 250 voices, including the Choir of the Diocese of Rome. All under the musical direction of renowned producer Adam Blackstone.
In addition to the musical part, the show will include a show with thousands of drones and lights inspired by the Sistine Chapel, created by Nova Sky Stories. It will be an unprecedented technological staging: more than 3,000 drones will light up the Roman sky as if they were thousands of moving stars.
If you are unable to attend in person, don’t worry, the event will also be broadcast live on Network 4, Disney+, Hulu and ABC News Live. Register here to receive live broadcast links and access updates on GRACE FOR THE WORLD (World Meeting on Human Fraternity).

The event marks the closing of the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity. For two days, international leaders, Nobel laureates and activists from around the world will reflect in Rome on global challenges and the need to find ourselves as humanity. And as a grand finale, the Vatican will transform St. Peter’s Square into a huge open-air stage.
One of the big news of the event is the participation of Karol G, who will make history by becoming the first Latin American artist to perform in front of the Pope. According to sources close to the organization, she may perform a version of “Vivo Per Lei” together with Bocelli, as well as her own song Milagros, in a clear bet that aims to build a bridge between the urban genre and spiritual music.
“This is a very rare cultural moment where the world stops and connects collectively,” Pharrell Williams said. Andrea Bocelli also commented on the event, saying, “We shine through music from the heart of Christianity, to send a message of peace to the world.”

To stop “only” at the music show or the drone show would be to ignore the intention behind this historic event. The World Meeting on Human Fraternity invites people to reflect on what it means to be human today, in an age marked by conflict, loneliness, new forms of poverty, environmental crises and challenges related to technological progress. The long-awaited event is conceived as an opportunity for dialogue and the building of new forms of hope. And it will be open to all.
The event will be free to the public in Rome and broadcast live on Network 4, Disney+, Hulu and ABC News Live at 9 p.m.
