Prince Harry’s recent visit to the United Kingdom for the Wellchild Awards seemingly generates intense discussion among royal observers. Rather than a simple visit to support a cause, some commentators suggest the trip was a meticulously planned PR event designed to reshape his public image.

Doubts About Security Arise

According to royal commentator Neil, on his recent By Royal Appointment segment on the Daily Headline News vlog, Prince Harry has a history of inconsistency. Neil suggested the recent trip revealed what he called a “shocking level of lies.”

He maintained that the public moved on and doesn’t miss the “old Harry,” and that this trip was an attempt to change that. In Neil’s opinion, the security argument for not bringing his family appears to be falling apart.

While Prince Harry previously stated in an interview that he couldn’t risk bringing his family to the UK, his recent trip experienced no security issues, which casts doubt on his prior claims.

Of course, that also makes folks wonder how sincere he is about reconciling with King Charles.

Why Wasn’t Meghan With Him?

Additionally, the commentator raised the question of Meghan Markle’s absence. In his view, she stayed home not because of security concerns but due to her own reluctance to return to the UK. He claimed she is more focused on selling her “As Ever” brand by leveraging a perceived “Britishness” without putting in the necessary work.

Neil contrasted Meghan with Jeremy Clarkson, who he said built a successful and believable brand with a strong work ethic. He suggested Meghan tries copying the successes of others. For example, he mentioned Meghan’s homemade jam, which was already a known project of the Princess of Wales.

Just a PR Move?

Neil claimed that the trip was a strategic move orchestrated by Harry’s communications team, led by Meredith Maine. He believes that it was simply to grow a more favorable press narrative. He suggested the team, which had previously shunned certain media outlets, now works with them to produce a softer image.

Therefore. the royal family expert felt that in the long run, it could persuade the Royal Family to support their security costs. In Neil’s view, the low public turnout at Harry’s events revealed indications that the objective of the trip failed.

Sean argued that the lack of public interest serves as a “barometer” proving that Harry and Meghan lost their hold on the British public. Nevertheless, he concluded that the trip turned out a win for Meghan, who he believes, along with Meredith, was the mastermind behind the scenes.

Her goal, he claimed, is to secure future media projects, such as “a Christmas special,” by using the possibility of a public reconciliation with King Charles to provide a powerful opportunity to boost her brand.

Reactions In The Comments

Many people in the discussion area agreed that Harry and Meghan just used the opportunity for an improved PR image. However, few of them believe it will work. Here are some of the reactions:

This is just a soft media push to reintroduce huggie and druggie so the public will be forgiving. This whole trip was just a PR stunt. Harry and her are desperate.I don’t think many of the British public want to see them at all.Harry came off during his visit as a balding, middle aged “has been “who doesn’t realize he looks foolish acting cheeky and dancing like a fool. This PR stunt didn’t work, people didn’t buy it.

What are your thoughts? Do you agree that the big claim about a lack of safety in the UK seems to be falling apart? Was the UK trip just an excuse to try and create a better PR image for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle so she can try and profit from it?
