I am a bit of a simp for Mario Draghi and I won’t apologize for it.
Federalism yes, but expanding while we still have vetoes in place seems like a recipe for disaster.
Because the last eastern expansion was so great.. Fact is, all of the paying countries are already in the EU. I wonder when the point comes that the people of those countries get annoyed that they have to pay for more and more other countries.
No expansion until we reform the veto procedure.
We need to handicap the ability of a few ultra-conservative countries to establish illiberal regimes before admitting any new members.
