The midlands of Ireland has a lot of cultivated bog so that probably explains why there are more there as they have been better preserved and would have been discovered during peat extraction.
Will you eventually do a super map with all the roads and other significant sites? Would be cool as an interactive website. Great job I’m any case, fascinating stuff
