  1. I’m going to Toronto next week. Hotels are expensive! But worth it to show support.

  2. That’s wild cuz America is complaining that tourism is down 30% for some reason

  3. We usually go to a waterpark thing in washington state in the spring for a week. This year we’re going to one in Niagra.

Traveling across Canada to avoid spending money in the states.

  4. Did the Orange Thing and his goons think we weren’t serious about boycotting after he attacked our sovereignty? Guess what? We are.

  5. Dear Americans – there was a time we considered you our brothers. We always had your backs. Now we want nothing to do with you. Fix your country. It’s broken.

  6. yeah i cancelled all my travel plans to the US for the foreseeable future because, who would want to go to a country where biden and obama was president?! /s

  7. Once again the media leads with the “due to tariffs” again ignoring all the other rhetoric and baggage that came with it.

  8. Just visited Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Drove over 3k km 🤣 Both are incredible beautiful but Newfoundland has my heart ☺️ Gros Morne National park is out of this world. https://share.google/exrpcH5xJGcszsFHv

Very much recommended to anyone that loves nature

  9. A reminder that their president (a pedophile and rapist) has said the US doesn’t need anything from Canada.

  10. Went to Quebec this summer. Awesome place, great people, and the prices were very reasonable.

10/10 – would love to go again

  11. From the UK but live in the US. Have been to Canada many times [ Halifax, Montreal, Toronto ] and have ( not-so-close ) family in the Toronto area. Would love to visit again, this time to Vancouver. Would even move to Canada if I didn’t have close family here. Cost would not be a factor. My quality of life would be the same or better in Canada, and my mental health would be vastly better ( I don’t like Trump ).

  12. Fun facts about Canada:

    – We’re the second largest country by land area
    – We have two official languages
    – We actually invented Hawaiian pizza
    – We aren’t run by an authoritarian wannabe who tariffs penguins.

  13. Conservatives don’t give a rats ass about this, in fact they probably encourage this even if it hurts them. Anything to own the libs amirite?!

  14. I and several others around NH have been taking trips to Nova Scotia for the summer, doing what we can to support Canada at this time.

  15. I’m Canadian as fuck and canceled my trip to the states last July, but let’s be real now. Canadian tourism is barely .08% of the U.S. economy. Does this hurt the U.S.? Maybe some local businesses on the border, but overall this is barely a scratch…. It also doesn’t help that we still continue to buy and used American products on a daily basis… REDDIT, Amazon, Costco, Apple, McDonalds, Netflix, Google, Gmail, etc, etc… these things are what truly keeps their economy churning non-stop. But I know Canadians aren’t ready to get rid of these American convenience.

  16. Canadians are incredibly lucky to live in the best country in the world!

  17. Canadians are showing tremendous resilience and unity. Much respect.

  18. We are just wrapping up a week in Canmore/Banff, I rather my money go to Canada than to my own country (US)

  19. Yup did a trip to montreal and vancouver instead pf nashville and whatever. Now heres rhe shi—- part. Those canadian tickets were double the price of the US ones. Absolutely shameful.

  20. Funny, just today I was talking to a local longtime business owner — he was saying there was a remarkable increase in tourist customers (Manni’s Tokes) this year. I hadn’t really thought about it, but on reflection I’ve been seeing tourists every time I turn my head this year.

  21. Flawed math. We’re going to the dogs!
Canadian tourism is up by 5%. Adding up the increases from a few provinces does not mean the countries increase is 30%. It even states in the video the the Canadian increase is 5%,

  22. My NEXUS card is gathering dust. Going to visit Newfoundland and Japan this year.

  23. I contributed to that increase for Canada, went to Ontario twice this summer for vacation.

  24. lol they’re also threatening to ban people from Canada if you aren’t grovelling about Kirk being shot too…

Like buddy I wasn’t going to visit the current dumpster fire you’ve got going on there. You can’t fire me I quit.

  25. American who visited Montreal recently for the first time; beautiful city

  26. We have quibbled with Americans over trade for decades. We made deals and trade offs. It kind of just worked. No one was really happy with it, so maybe that was an indication it was relatively fair. But the minute HE broke his own deal and started threatening our sovereignty, that triggered a lot of people. And rightly so in my opinion. I feel for the non MAGA Americans stuck on that crazy train right now.

  27. I’ve never seen so many American tourist. Lots of them are scouting out locations for living a sane existence.

  28. > According to the university, the American tourism market has seen a major decline, not just in individual travelling, but also for conferences and school trips.

    > Until political tensions with the U.S. ease, it’s expected Canadians will continue to explore different regions of Canada and spend their money here.

  29. Bunch of us were asked if we could assist our sister company in the states and earn some OT, no one volunteered. We all have the proper credentials.

  30. I just came back from Toronto. You can thank Lady Gaga skipping my state for the visit. I did spend plenty of money there! Cool city!

  31. I saw so many local things this summer!

    Bruce stampede.
    Head smashed in buffalo jump.
    Reynolds museum.
    Tyrell museum.
    Metis Crossing.
    And so many more…

I don’t care where you live: be a local tourist and see what the place around you has to offer 😉

  32. Canada’s economy is booming while America’s is tanking. Canada elected a strong leader while America elected a pedo.

  33. I’m in BC now after arriving in Alberta. It’s terrific and the warm weather is a bonus. Thank you Canadian friends.

  34. Have had about a half dozen vacations in Canada. Every one was nothing short of great. The people are friendly and helpful as long as you’re not an asshole wearing a red hat.

  35. I’m set on moving to Canada in the next few years.. everything here is ruined. It was so good that my only complaint was not having universal healthcare. It’s unbelievable how much this orange fuck destroyed 250 years of progress in just a matter of few years. We are too far gone & nothing will ever be the same. It’s really depressing when I think about it…

  36. Hopefully US travel keeps dropping.

With what they are doing to Canada, there closest ally and support. The relationship has changed. Most Canadians see the US as agressive and hostile.

I would love to tell you a different story, but unfortunately it is the only one I can tell.
