Charlie Kirk shooting: Witness says man yelled: “I’d do it again!” after shooting

Um, we did receive uh video of the moment that shot uh rang out. We heard from our airing uh Kurski uh Bob uh that reports uh say that um possibly uh that bullet hitting Charlie Kirk’s uh neck as our Aaron Kursk was describing. You could actually see uh blood uh pouring out. We did hear straight from Charlie Kirk’s organization that he that he co-founded uh Turning Point USA that he is in the hospital and they are all paying praying for him. Prayers coming uh from the president of the United States to those uh involved in his organization, those that have been on the tour with him. Uh Aaron Kurski, uh anything new that you have learned as we will continue of course uh to hit the top of the hour here? Uh we’re trying to get as much information as possible about the condition of Charlie Kirk after being shot there on the university campus in Utah. It it it seemed according to eyewitness accounts and and and by law enforcement experts who have viewed the video to be a very difficult injury from the single shot that struck Charlie Kirk. So, everyone uh in the administration is sending prayers for his survival and well-being, but everyone is also uh braced for what could be some difficult news, Kira, because the single shot struck Charlie Kirk. Eyewitnesses said they saw a lot of blood coming from him and then they all scattered. Now, the un uh the university is urging everyone to leave campus to allow police to conduct the investigation. The suspect that was taken into custody, according to eyewitness accounts, was heard screaming, “I do it again.” Described as an older male wearing a a blue shirt, someone who has white hair, but we’ve heard nothing else about the suspect. Uh if it is indeed a himself, or his condition, uh so far uh the the the local police have said nothing. It’s only the university that’s now urging everyone to clear out of campus. Cheer us.

Conservative political youth activist Charlie Kirk was shot during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

School officials initially said a suspect was taken into custody, but Utah police later said a suspect was not in custody and that a suspect was at large.

Eyewitnesses told ABC News they saw authorities taking a man into custody shortly after the shooting, and that the man was heard screaming “I’d do it again!” after the shooting.

Charlie and I may different in an approach to things. However he even the playing ground and had a respectful debate to anyone. The shooter obviously wouldn't dare match knowledge and truth. So, this was his 15 minutes of fame. This is how he achieve it. If he could kill Charlie in a debate. He'd have gone that route. This is completely disgusting.and distasteful.
