Condé Nast Traveller magazine and travel portal has unveiled its list of the best hotels in Croatia, chosen by its editors and writers who have experienced them first-hand, tportal writes.
The selection highlights both luxury resorts and boutique hideaways, praising hotels with outstanding design, location and service.
While not ranked, the list blends established favourites with fresh arrivals, covering Istria, Dalmatia, Dubrovnik and the islands.
Istria
Among Istrian standouts are Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery in Bale, celebrated for its vineyards and fine dining, and San Canzian Village & Hotel near Buje, a stylish retreat in a medieval setting.
Rovinj features twice: the expansive Grand Park Hotel overlooking the sea and the rustic yet refined Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico.
Dubrovnik Region
Dubrovnik’s Villa Dubrovnik, recently renovated, offers some of the city’s most spectacular views, while Ninon Boutique Hotel just outside the city provides a serene escape with just nine rooms and an artistic touch.
Dalmatian Islands
On Hvar, Zori Timeless on Palmižana has transformed a former restaurant into exclusive suites, while Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel and Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort continue to attract both wellness seekers and families. Maslina Resort, near Stari Grad, stands out for its sustainable luxury.
On Brač, Hotel Lemongarden in Sutivan impresses with its lush gardens and locally inspired cuisine, while Villa Giardino Heritage Boutique in Bol charms with vintage elegance.
In Korčula, Lesic Dimitri Palace combines Silk Road-inspired design with a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Architect Nikola Bašić’s Villa Nai 3.3 on Dugi Otok features on the list. Near Split, Le Meridien Lav earns praise for its family-friendly facilities and standout service.
