The 2025 EuroBasket final on Sunday, September 14th will take place in the Latvian capital, Rīga, between Germany and Türkiye.

In Friday night’s semi-final matches, Germany beat Finland 98:86, and then Türkiye beat Greece 94:68  to set up a final to savour between the two countries who share numerous links – including a large Turkish minority residing in Germany, which should add to the occasion.

Greece and Finland will now meet to decide the bronze medal at 17:00 on Sunday, with the final taking place later at 21:00 to decide who will be European champions this year.

Neither team has yet lost a match in the tournament. Türkiye have never won a European championship, while Germany have one previous title to their name, back in 1993.

More detailed information and previews can be found on the FIBA EuroBasket official website.
