Actress Nina Dobrev and professional snowboarder Shaun White have reportedly ended their relationship, but it’s a video Dobrev shared just days before the split that has caught a lot of attention.
The breakup was officially announced on Thursday, September 11, while the cryptic TikTok video was shared on Saturday, September 6. In the video, the former Degrassi: The Next Generation star can be seen in a Nike sweatshirt with minimal makeup, lip-syncing to a feisty audio clip.
“How do you sleep at night knowing people don’t like you? With no underwear, in case they wanna kiss my ass,” said the audio, before continuing, “What’s your advice for women trying to fix their man? Listen, Bob the Builder, he’s got 10 other women trying to fix him too, and you all look like a damn construction crew.”
Fans wasted no time speculating about Dobrev and White’s relationship woes in the comments.
“Subtext here: he cheated. EVEN THE PRETTY & SUPER COOL ONES, GIRLS!!! IT’S NEVER YOUR FAULT,” said one fan.
“How does a man fumble NINA DOBREV!?” another fan wondered. Someone else said, “Hahahahah YOU GOT HIM TO DISABLE HIS COMMENTS. Ugh can’t wait to see your healing era.”
Another comment with almost 84,000 likes simply said, “Ohhhhhh. he f****** UP!”
On Reddit, someone shared, “I saw a comment on Nina’s instagram post 6 days ago that he was canoodling with 2 girls and that his friend threatened the commenter to stop taking pics of him.”
Despite fan speculations, neither White nor Dobrev have spoken publicly about their breakup, and the specific reasons for their split have not been disclosed.
The actress and Olympic medalist had been together for five years, and had gotten engaged in October 2024 before calling off their relationship. A source close to the couple told People, “The decision was mutual and difficult, but it was made with love and great respect for each other.”
