    After the 2020 election, Kirk disputed the results and denied that Trump had lost. On January 4, 2021, Kirk announced in a tweet that Turning Point Action would be sending more than 80 buses to a January 6, 2021, Trump “Stop the Steal” rally near the White House in Washington, D.C., to protest the outcome of the election.

    Busing rioters that tried to kill the VP in a coup is treason.

    George Washington executed sentenced people to death in the Whiskey Rebellion for infinitely less than bringing a brigade-strength amount of hostile people to the seat of government.

At least Pritzker made the flag lowering for victims of political violence. That’s far more appealing than watching your governor try to earn points with people who will never vote for him.

There’s absolutely no basis for the flying of flags at half-mast, or the military honor guard escorting his casket to the the plane, or fucking Air Force 2 being used to transport his casket. Republicans are pretending he was some governmental figure who the American taxpayers should be paying for. Meanwhile, he was multimillionaire who earned his living by spreading ideological hate, and encouraging division among the American people.

  37. It is easy to look up the official rules regarding flags. You can look up the rules about how they are to be displayed. For example, they are never to be draped around your body to be worn as clothing. Also a flag should never have other writing or advertising or any images super imposed over it.

    There are conditions for when a flag is to be flown at half mast. While the murder of Charlie Kirk is to be condemned, he does not qualify for the flags to be flown at half mast. A president should not just do this on a whim.
