  1. Looks like those gas fields might be worth looking into again.

  2. Natural gas is not sustainable, it’s literally burning shit, this is a crazy ruling

  3. Natural gas is a joke to be called sustainable. Good to see they are calling nuclear sustainable about time.

  4. About time with Nuclear. Insane how much the fossil fuel industry has slandered it over the years and how this has been swallowed uncritically by the green movement.

Natural Gas though is laughable. It’s burning fossil fuels!

  5. The rules specifically allow modern natural gas turbines, which are able to burn natural gas and transition to biomethane and hydrogen.

They are licensed for a specific period, and then reduce to a zero-carbon budget after that, meaning that they will *only* be permitted to burn biomethane and hydrogen from that point onwards.

The headlines are of course written to generate maximum outrage at natural gas being green. It’s not, and the rules do not claim that it is.

  6. Useless bullshit, indians and chinese make a mockery of it.

  7. Agree with nuclear but having natural gas in here as sustainable is just crazy.

  8. If we asked the French for their expertise we could have an Operational Reactor that could provide power for the entire country It’s very sad that a few Russians ruined the chances of Universal European Nuclear Power

  9. The might as well rule that gravity repels things away from each other.
