2. Ukraine buying time for Europe with blood and it feels like that time has been frittered away. Some big movements but not quick enough. Lessons not being learned either.

19. This alternate reality that European leaders have warped themselves into is getting increasingly farcical. Trump has shown in many more ways than necessary that he is not going to raise a finger to help them on Ukraine.
    When will European leaders put a stop to their self flagellating, call his bluff and go it their own way?

23. first of all, there has been couple hundreds rounds of sanctions. so i am more sure what he is trying to
    secondly, you are not going to force countries like china to stop buying energy from russia… unless you can somehow ask your allies to supply enough energy to china at a discount price

24. They really *need* excuses to do what they want to do though.

25. Tbh with the current state of them already deploying the military and national guard against civilians and threatening and bullying allies, we probably aren’t too far from them just stopping to use excuses at all…

26. If the world wants to hurt Russia, just cut them off entirely. No commercial traffic in or out, no internet, etc.
