This sculpture appeared overnight in Bristol for World Suicide Prevention Day , a hooded figure, head in hands, with a teddy bear quietly offering comfort.
It’s a stark reminder that while many are battling silently, none of us should have to face it alone.

I don’t know if it’s allowed or right to share this but, imo, one of the best Anti Suicide pieces of media is a song made by a comedy Duo:

This was installed back in 2020 during the pandemic. Very poignant piece of work
“the bear, it just won’t stop following me. It whispers at night..”
RIP Ricky Hatton
I was thinking this was on a viaduct or something but it’s actually only [at +1 floor level from ground](https://maps.app.goo.gl/KxBxGEAj1xKjm85K6)
[The sculpture is from 2020](https://www.bristol247.com/culture/art/much-loved-sculpture-returns-bear-with-me/), any by [Getting Up To Stuff](https://www.instagram.com/gettinguptostuff) for anyone who’s interested.
Poor Ricky Hatton, I hope he’s at peace
For the cause of suicide prevention please sign this petition to help awareness around one of the most debilitating conditions affecting 1 in 20 women which causes intrusive suicidal thoughts every month – https://chng.it/QdRDrnJ9pz
I’ve lost 5 people to suicide and I hate this world sometimes. People talk about reducing mental health stigma, but it is still absolute there. If you’re in need please also call the Samaritans 116 123. You are not alone.

What you can’t see is that the bear is holding a gun, and if the guy doesn’t jump his whole family will be murdered.
