A man has been arrested and charged following an anti-immigration protest outside a hotel in Falkirk.
The 63-year-old was charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour during the demonstration outside the Cladhan Hotel on Saturday afternoon.
He will appear in court at a later date.
Dozens of people gathered outside the premises, which is housing asylum seekers, to take part in the activity.
The protest, organised by Save Our Future & Our Kids Futures, started outside the Cladhan Hotel, with counter protesters from Stand Up to Racism Scotland also in attendance.

It was the latest demonstration held in recent weeks by Save Our Future and Our Kids Futures, which said on Facebook that it reflects the “genuine concerns” of residents.
A counter-protest organised by Stand Up To Racism and other groups gathered outside the hotel, while the anti-immigration demonstration was on the opposite side of the road.
Councillors from Reform UK were spotted in attendance alongside members of Patriotic Alternative.
The group were seen with a saltire flag and a blue and red flag bearing the slogan ‘Secure our Borders’.
They sang: “Oh, Tommy, Tommy! Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy Robinson!”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 63-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour following a protest on Kemper Avenue in Falkirk on Saturday, 13 September, 2025.
“He has been released on undertaking to appear in court at a later date.”
