Should we move out?

  1. I think the bedroom now belongs to whatever the fuck that thing is

  2. I’ve seen one of those lads in “Clash of the Titans”.

  3. Oh fuck that! I would have shit myself! I remember when I was younger and it was a hot summer and this massive beady eyed cockroach was looking at me on the pavement outside my house. I was horrified! I didn’t really know what it was, as I’d never seen a cockroach before. In summary I’d never survive in Australia…..

  4. Personally, I’d have had the house on the market before posting anything on reddit. But you do you.

  5. Wondering what kind of bedroom that is. Don’t often hear of people with tiled floors in bedrooms. Kitchens bathrooms so on. But tiling in a bedroom would suggest you and the partner have a very healthy relationship 😈

  6. seen a few of these the past month or two and I’d never seen them before!

  7. My son recently found one. It had wings though but otherwise looked exactly like this. I’m wondering since if that was a mutation?

  8. I hope you live up in the Shetland islands far far away from me?

  9. They’re from a family of beetles whose shells shrunk in length so that they can wriggle through narrow tunnels. But their wings didn’t shrink, so they can still fly, but they have to do origami to put them back under the shell.

  10. We have so many of these at work. They’re harmless.

  11. Yeah fuck that… but… seriously do you have a patio as a bedroom floor?

  12. That’s a very cool beetle, great find. Known as a Devil’s Coachhorse

  13. How big is it? I’m picturing it about 20-40 metres long given that it’s straddling a canal with just its front legs.

  14. I found a couple of these outside earlier in the year. They’re pretty big. Dragging that huge abdomen around too.

  15. Once you have dealt with that, i recommend getting a carpet as that floor looks cold! 😏

  16. These guys are neat, they certainly stand their ground and will spray you if you piss em off 🤣

  17. At first, I thought it looks like a Vinegaroon 😱😱😱

But I am delighted to discover it is not since if they had found their way to the UK, I would have to go and live at sea.
