I don’t believe this kind of shit is meant to provoke any form of thinking.
I think that i wish there were no race bait on r/france.
A few days ago, some reddittor said “with cheese, you should only drink white wine, not red wine”. I guess this is, indeed, some form of white privilege.
Would be easier to think anything worthwhile if we had more than the title to go off of.
C’est pas valek qui a parlé de ca dans une de ses video ?
La béchamel, cette sauce raciste.
It can only help far right, who will be more than happy to be triggered by it, so they can be heard by anyone.
OP what were you expecting by asking this question here? Honest question
We don’t know what “French food” is, we call it home food and don’t use it as a show off thing like foreigners could do.
Also grammatical click bait to trigger Americans
I think someone is trying to create yet another shitty controversy by presenting a misleading headline about a paper which content isn’t actually very inflammatory but can easily be misrepresented because people won’t bother to read it. Perhaps in an attempt to create a narrative about a nonexistent assault on western culture by !!!woke activists!!!
Food is an expression of culture. As such, I am sure that fancy Michelin star restaurants and complex eating ustentils can be an expression of class domination. However French food is pretty large a concept and most popular recipes tend to be peasant favourites in the first place. The sweeping generalisation of the title invalidates any pretense at an actual argument. Its basically trolling.
What does this even mean?
I don’t.
My first thought: WTF
When I see some title like this, where the only reaction you can have is about insulting that Mathilde Cohen, I wonder if this is not a stupid clickbait and that the theory of this Mathilde is much more interesting that that stupid title tells.
However, of course, if someone tells me that I am a racist by eating the food I like, I’ll probably just laugh.
Oui mais le couscous est-ce que c’est du white privilege ou pas ? Ou c’est de l’appropriation culturelle ?

I’m hungry now.
More seriously, the author need to take some little pills for his sick brain.
It’s rather simple: I don’t read them.
Bullshit

In fact, the article doesn’t say much, no arguments, nothing substantial: [https://archive.md/8gGQL#selection-839.71-839.114](https://archive.md/8gGQL#selection-839.71-839.114)
Here is the video from Mathilde Cohen that the article is about though: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zodp7fE_01k](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zodp7fE_01k)
