I removed a couple of hundred or so fascist stickers from Waterloo this morning down Stamford Street. Armed with wipes I filled up a small bin bag.

Category of stickers

  • A lot of the stickers had some association with FC clubs (West ham, South Brum, Sussex) with stop the boats messaging. A lot of out-of-london areas like Hull.
  • The most disturbing 'anti-antifa' ones used nazi imagery and threatening messages
  • A lot of conspiracy ones – use cash only, deep state, a lot of American trumpisms "drain the swamp" etc.
  • Weird ones against food delivery drivers
  • Lots with Farage's toad face on.

Response

  • 2 not so nice hecklers from cars
  • 4 supportive people who had a chat with me

Heckler 1: Driver in a black cab shouting "are they paying you to do that!!"

Heckler 2: Driver in a silver car shouting "f-ing f**got"

The 4 nice people who stopped by to have a chat – thank you. I was on my own doing this so I appreciated some company. I was a bit shaken after being shouted at. Liz especially – you were lovely.

If you are in London and spot any fascist stickers I encourage you to not just walk by – but stop and remove them. The march was unity of hate, but we can be the unity of love. One planet. Love wins.

….also – for next time bring something to scrape them. My thumbnail is crying.

  1. Well done. You did a good noble deed and others should model themselves after you.

  2. More of a patriot than the knuckle draggers that went through London yesterday

  3. God bless you. You’re one of the good ones. Fuck nazis

  4. Well done for this.

I can’t even process how vile one must be to even contemplate using that Nazi themed sticker. “Protecting are country” by using imagery from a group that wanted to destroy your country during the war. Utter weasels.

  5. Be careful, they used to stick razor blades underneath them to prevent their removal.

  6. thanks mate. appreciate you and wish there were more out there like you.

  7. The Nazi-style sticker is particularly odious. Many, many thanks for removing them.

  8. Good for you – good for everyone. Thank you for doing this.

  9. “anti antifa” is unfortunately the funniest thing I’ve seen today

  10. Why’d that other thread get removed.

Lol @ West Ham and Millwall putting their differences aside for the common goal of substance abuse and race bashing

  11. Londoner of the year nominations open and closed. It’s you.

  12. If only someone could help them figure out a more efficient way of writing anti-anti-facist. It’d save them a few big in printing costs.

  13. I’d happily come and join you doing this if there is a next time

  14. Awesome work!

The “Anti Antifa” one got me. Slightly roundabout way to say they’re fascists

  15. Do they even notice that Anti-antifa is basically an admission of being fascist?

  16. Anti anti-fascists?

    Anti anti-racists?

If only there was a more concise way of putting that!

  17. They could save a bit of ink by putting “facists” instead of “anti-antifa.”

  18. Well done mate, you’re a better Patriot than those cnts..

  19. I’m Northern so I read that as
    ‘On the charrige with farage’

  20. Be careful – my friends and I sometimes go round taking down stickers like these in our town and one of us got cut while trying to peel it with a razorblade put under the sticker. Definitely bring a tool next time .

  21. Them putting openly fascist stickers up is mad. All the centrists in other threads trying to act like it wasn’t a far right march yesterday should hang their head in shame.

  22. It’s funny, ‘We fought the Nazis ‘ with the help of many other countries, with men and women of different coloured skin.
Post war rebuild, the govt decided to send a junior mp around the Carribbean to enlist the service of men and women, even assisting with travel.
When the Emperor Windrush was about to leave, the govt had a change of mind and wanted the ship to change course to harvest ground nuts.
‘We’ were worried about racial mixing, that we even offered sanctuary to Nazi officers and their families on the skin colour basis,.to keep Britain white.
Why did our grand parents fight Nazis just.for.their grandchildren to become them??

  23. Thanks from me as well, I was in tears this morning reading the reports of these scumbags behaviour, I fought the national front in the 70’s but a bit past that now, thanks for taking up the cause

  24. The fuck is it with some football club fans (mostly eastern european around this way) and stickering?

*[insert club] fan puts a sticker on a lamp post / over a safety critical road sign*

    Do I feel ‘owned’?
    No.
Do I feel the local football team is threatened now?
    No.
Do I recognise that team as good?
    No.
Do I recognise those fans as powerful/numerous?
    No.

Do I somewhat more think fans of that team are all dickheads, and will think more negatively of that team?
    **YES.**

  25. People 2 generations removed from the men that fought and died in Europe fighting the Nazis are now willingly sticking nazi stickers around london.

You’re grandfather and great grandfather’s would be ashamed.
