That’s not a Lithuanian border guard, it’s Valdas Bartkevičius.
Lmao, bučiau rusas prieš karą vistiek tylėčiau, ką nori, kad prieš kamerą gyvenimą susigadintu apšnekėdamas putka. Čia biški online attention farming.
Not a border guard. He is a volunteer bringing support and supplies to Ukraine. He posted this in his FB profile recently
No win situation for the guy, tries to say nothing condemned by everyone or talk against russia and get himself killed
The reflection does not show a Lithuanian border guard. The Russian man asks who are his people, as in the cameraman’s people. It isn’t clear what power this guy has to stop and ask questions on camera which can have real ramifications for the man being filmed.
While Russians who support the war should be called out, putting Russians who could help (eventually) in danger does nothing to help anyone. The guy being filmed is in a lose-lose situation.
Ngl pretty stupid questions. Why would he care, it literally doesn’t mean anything to him what happened here in 1991 and just escalates the situation even more.
The question can be rephrased “Do you want to get 4+ years in prison next time you come to Russia”?
And btw, if all Russians supported war as many people claim, why would Russian government would have to punish people that severely? What’s the problem in some minority opposing the war?
So what’s the resolution? Why did the video just cut? What the hell is even the point of this video?
