1. Wow, that’s stark.

2. We actually subsidise upland sheep specifically to graze and trample in order to maintain certain species of plant that have become established because of centuries of this activity.

   There’s no money in this type of farming. It’s purely for biodiversity.

   Grates me how many people think Ireland is some kind of natural place.
