Vice President JD Vance hosted a special, two-hour episode of “The Charlie Kirk Show” from the White House on Monday to pay tribute to his friend, assassinated Wednesday on a college campus in Utah.
The vice president got fiery at times — exploding at a “hack” writer for The Nation who misrepresented arguments Kirk, 31, had made, and more deranged people who’ve danced on the conservative activist’s grave. At other points, Vance quoted Bible verses and even recited the Lord’s Prayer.
Vance brought on a parade of guests to reflect on Kirk’s legacy, including right-wing firebrand Tucker Carlson, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and more of Kirk’s friends and podcast colleagues.
