Strange But True

  1. These people truly have a completely different reality in their heads. I imagine most of them never even listened to his podcasts, or read anything he wrote, attended any speaking engagements or events. Just conservative = good, own the libs, liberal = bad, antifa, the violent left, drugs, ms-13, criminals, Mexican cartels, socialist communist liberal scum.

  2. It’s simple why they’re doing this. Charlie Kirk, based on what he actually said and did was a despicable bigot. His cronies share those beliefs. They are embarrassed when those absurd things, like saying it is worth a few deaths to protect the 2nd amendment, makes them to be bigots as well.

  3. “He didn’t say that!”

“Okay he did say that but you’re taking it out of context!”

“Okay so he did say that in that exact context but you know what? It’s called freedom of speech so fuck you!”

  4. You don’t understand! All of those incredibly hateful and racist things he said were taken out of context!

  5. MY WHITE CULTURE IS UNDER ATTACK!
Me, a cis, white, middle-class 6th Gen Canadian male:

I’m *embarrassed* how fucking good my life is, but I have the gratitude AND the empathy to understand other cultures’ frustrations and having to deal with this utter nonsense.
    Just not this one.

  6. Tbf, once he died what followed is just propaganda in Charlie’s name. It has nothing to do with the man, who was a piece of dried

  7. I’ve been enjoying using a bait and switch where I provide short quotes, wait for somebody to cry “out of context!” Then add more context that makes them even worse.

  8. The last black woman on the Washington Post option writer was fired today for “hate speech “ for quoting CK.

  9. Trying these out le me know what you think.

    > Don’t be a Kirkhole (a moron who gets proved wrong… Hard)

    > Your such a Kirkhold (one who espouses one’s own ideology Loudly while not following it)

  10. I was temporarily banned because when asked what would you do if he came back after 3 days. I gave a response indicating he was a zombie not a deity.

  11. “You’re taking part of his quote out of context!”

(Says entire quote which makes it 10× worse)

    “Why would you say that?!”

  12. I don’t know if they’re smart enough to understand what a “quote” is.

  13. Pretty telling that you can only use a tiny few of his actual quotes in his honor. Don’t live a life that puts your loved ones in that predicament.

  14. As an outsider(not American) it’s fascinating to see how people in America exist in what seems to be different online realities from one another depending on the political view.
Subs like this one have a completely different set of ‘facts’ to the conservative sub and both group think the other is guilty of twisting the narrative. Both groups find each others views incredulous, both think the other is doing mental gymnastics to blame the other side. I’m not sure how to explain it but it’s rather scary how big that divide is.
I’m not really sure where the 100% factual truth lies in all this but the difference between the two groups is almost unbelievable. I’m sure the current ‘news’ sites are partly to blame, speed rather than accuracy is king, gotta be the first to publish the story.
I’m sorry this post isn’t funny but it’s interesting and worrying to see.

  15. Oh he looks better this way. Maybe he should have had a beard. Too late now I guess.

  16. I know it has been commented on often but I really don’t get why, when talking about gun violence victims he said “I can’t stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage” and yet people that hate the guy are forced to fake empathy for HIM or face the wrath of the maga cult. FCK.

  17. They also say shit like “nobody should be executed for exercising free speech” and then in the next breath call for the death/punishment of anyone criticizing kirk with their own free speech

  18. Just wanted to congratulate everyone reading this for playing the game of life better than Charlie Kuck.

  19. Freedom of speech is OK for Charlie Kirk, but not for people quoting him.

Makes perfectly sense in a fascist regime.

  20. A major challenge is that the people who worship him, worship him because they have so few healthy emotional coping mechanisms. They don’t have the tools to process his death in a healthy emotionally mature way. This results in them making videos where they are visibly sad, but are red faced ranting about who they are going to punish and violently harm because he died. Somewhere along the way, they missed a growth stage.

Who knows how much systemic child abuse such as “blanket training,” which is popular in certain extremist religious sects, factors into the utter lack of healthy, emotionally mature coping mechanisms we are seeing on display. Hate and violence are their go to emotions when they encounter something they don’t know how to process. While they, themselves, act like tools, it is tools that they actually lack.

  21. “Name one thing he said hateful”

    *quotes him*

*gets a warning from social media platform about hate speech*

  22. Charlie Kirk stood for free speech and if you disagree, you should be fired!

  23. Because you’re quoting only part of the context and not the full picture.

You guys say that the right takes the Bible and does the same thing so stop doing the same shit 🙂

  24. even stranger/more chilling: fascists want to make calling someone a fascist a punishable offense.

  25. Charlie Kirk was right about one thing. Probably gonna need to get some guns to protect my life, liberty, and property from these openly violent and hostile MAGA people. And my freedoms. NRA and gun manufacturers probably salivating right now. Super sad times.

  26. “He was not a hero. He was a scumbag. He should not be celebrated.”

    ~Charlie Kirk on George Floyd
