According to an Israeli general in haaretz at least 200,000 are dead. there has been a systemic targeting of healthcare facilities in the strip, and soldiers have deliberately destroyed any machine or equipment they find in the hospitals and clinics that are not flagged by bunker busting bombs.doctors have been abducted and the IDF has blocked entry to lifesaving drugs and medical supplies for almost 2 years.
It is without question that there is a humanitarian crisis in the strip, and helping those in need is a worthy cause.
That being said the solution here isn’t just the bandaid on the few that we can treat here, but sanctions on the perpetrator of this crisis, so aid organizations and the healthcare system in Gaza can be resusicated to the level where they can provide adequate care to people who need it.
Regardless if you think this is the right or wrong decision, it’s going to make people vote to the right
