I moved into an apartment in July and the landlord promised a new door replacement before I’d move in… sent him a reminder today and this was his reply. fml.

  6. What are you even complaining about? I count three pieces of “wood” that cover the hole where assumingly was glass before. THREE! You should be grateful! It could have been ONE piece of carpet or cardboard or a sheet of paper instead.

    I swear, tenants these days, they ruin the whole business.

  8. Would just tell him “I can fix it, but I need a deduction of the rent for the hassle and the price for the door, could only be cheaper than getting a professional, which would be out of your pocket”

  11. am i the only one who doesn’t think he meant to send it to you? i don’t know what he wanted to say with “was defekt” but i think he meant to forward the pictures and send the message to someone else and accidentally sent them to you
