  3. I was downvoted numerous times when I said secondary sanctions on India would be an ineffective overreach. They would be received as a completely unacceptable infringement on India’s sovereignty, pushing the country away from the West and closer to Russia, China, and other authoritarian regimes. It has happened now. It’s not good. That said, screw Modi and his cronies. They cry wolf about colonialism and Western hypocrisy yet run a completely amoral self-interested foreign policy themselves. Apart from making their country more authoritarian internally as well. It’s all part of the cesspit that we call geopolitics.
