The Big beautiful bill is just another huge transfer of wealth to the 1% in this country. Absolutely sickening (but unsurprising considering who owns the uniparty.)

1. Compare the graphic to the share of taxes paid by these income groups. For reference, the top 5% pays 66% of all income tax. The lower 75% pays 10%.

4. The real problem isn’t how unfair it is, the real problem is the 1% will get trillions and will use that money to buy up businesses you shop at and jack up prices.

   The left focuses too much on unfairness and not enough on consequences

6. Odd to talk about the “uniparty” when this was a partisan Republican bill that is explicitly opposed to Democratic priorities and overturned most of the major Biden era legislation.

7. Runaway kleptocracy in a society that doesn’t have effective (legal) ways to eliminate parasites/kleptocrats should be surprising to no one. 

8. To add context, if I made 1 billion in a year and was taxed at the extreme rate of 65%, I would still bring home 350 million, hopefully that’s enough to buy groceries
