I know Cleethorpes isn’t the best area, but I think calling this house Ruins is a bit strong

  1. Why is there a “ruins” property type on Rightmove in the first place?

Who’s waking up and going “You know what? I might go see what *ruins* are for sale in my area today.”

  2. I do wonder why people mount TVs over stoves like that. We’ve only got a 5kw stove and ours kicks out some serious heat. I wouldn’t want my tv within 1.5m of it.

  3. I am so disappointed. I wanted to link the listing to someone else and they’ve already fixed it xD

  4. Remember that Cleethorpes is thought of as posh compared to Grimsby.

  5. I don’t think they were talking about the house there… It’s in Cleethorpe so maybe discussing the location?

  6. Cleethorpes is lovely what are you on about? We have beautiful brown waters and (most) of the beaches are hypodermic needle free!

  7. It’s got a st georges cross on the driveway. Could be hot property at the moment, its gotta add at least £10k on to the value.

  8. It means infantry can move through it as if it were not there, but it does block line of sight.

  9. Apart from the area that looks like a decent house can’t lie.

  10. Cleethorpes honestly seemed fine when I went there recently.

Maybe that was because we’d booked an AirBNB in the roughest part of Grimsby but still, lots of sleepy retirement suburbs and a nice enough seafront.

  11. That’s a mental price, my mam’s terrace is over 300k. That house round our way is about 400-500k

  12. Hehehe 🙂

This was most likely an automated data onboarding problem of some kind.

  13. if they think this is a ruin they should see my house

  14. Fucking hell, that amount of money wouldn’t even buy you a leasehold flat where I live

  15. Me and my partner got shot at with nerf guns by kids on the Cleethorpes seafront when we were just minding our business 💀

  16. Based on previous experience with house viewing, I have seen houses with beautiful photos on the house listing, house is actually in bad condition because the photos were taken years ago. There’s no way I’ll spend £235K on a house that needs a lot of work.

  17. That exact design of house seems to be all over the country, in almost every town.

I wonder if they were all built by one developer, or it was just a very popular plan.

  18. 235k for a 3 bed, semi detached with a drive is crazy. Can’t even get a 1 bed flat for that where I am, it’s painful.
