  1. This comment section will be a fairly smashing read with a coffee.

Someone mention me when the bots show up please.

Edit: The bots are preoccupied with the “Spain leave Eurovision due to Israel” posts, I feel Eurovision trumps Prince Harrys lazy eyed cousin in their list of priorities.

  2. Am I the only one expecting green parties to focus on… well green policies -climate crises and environmental issues

  3. Yeah but you can’t make anyone do anything and still call it a free marketplace. It’s up to individual companies to do what they want and consumers can vote with their wallet one way or another.

  4. Yes 100%. BDS was a significant driver in ending South African apartheid. It could be significant if it gathers traction.

  5. Companies, as I understand them, aren’t particularly known for boycotting things, are they?

  6. Scottish companies say we must boycott wee specky gobshites who have never had a job or any qualifications.

  7. 15% of our medication comes from Israel, any appetite to boycott that?

  8. Do you also expect labour to only do employment stuff?

That said without social change you can’t solve climate issues.

  9. Already doing it with my software company. We used several Israeli based software, switched now.

    Bye bye! 👋

  10. People don’t want to be lectured and told what they must or must not do, they want to be listened to.

I can’t remember where I read this phrase, but it’s so apropriate, and it explains why the do gooder progressives are losing all over the West.

  11. Didn’t Keir Starmer say the UK would recognise a Palestinian state in September unless certain conditions were met? How’s that going, anyone?

Scotland needs to boycott Israel and recognise Benjamin Netanyahu as the war criminal that he is!

  12. I do, personally. Now that has much impact but we all should imo.

  13. It’s encouraging to see more companies making the switch. The BDS movement’s historical precedent is a powerful example of economic pressure creating real change. Every business that divests adds to that momentum. This is how you move the needle.

  14. Israel needs to be isolated in general. Ban from all sports, businesses etc

  15. Greens come up with a lot of pish.

    Anything to keep relevancy flowing.

Guarantee they couldn’t give a smeg about the conflict and are just trying to pick up cheap votes that have been disallusioned by Labour/SNP

  16. Nothing will stop Israel besides military action, they will wipe Palestine off the map and everyone in it.
