He will be in Windsor (as there are renovations at Buckingham Palace) but we can still turn up and make a statement in London.   4. Can I just show up? Or do I need to register and/or prepare a poster or a banner? I just learned about the event today and I have no time left for preparation. I also haven’t been to this kind of events before so don’t know what to expect and what is expected of me.

    I absolutely detest Trump but fuck me, we’re in the United Kingdom, what benefit does a protest here serve aside from saying ‘we don’t like you’ which if you look at any poll anywhere in the world, most of the world despises him.

I will also note that there are people that I work with who are solely coming into the office tomorrow as opposed to normally working from home on a Wednesday so they can come in early, work and then attend the march.

  25. What’s the goal here? Should our government stop all communication and relationships with the US because of a heretic. Diplomacy is far more complicated and nuanced than this and our global security and trade deals still rely heavily on our US partnership. Protesting Trumps actions and ideologies I understand and we should make that loud, but it can’t be against a state visit. His position as President along with current global events means he must visit for European and UK interests alone.
