Brexit is oven ready, provided you ignore how woefully under-prepared our customs service is for the radical changes that come with it. It’s not like changes to import and export were unexpected, however the government had no plans to spend any money or hire the stuff to meet the insane demands it would bring.

Normally in these type of protectionist shenanigans home goods have the advantage as they don’t have these checks, but in this case they’re competing with unchecked goods domestically and still have to deal with customs and tariffs et Al on export.
Literally couldn’t be worse for British buisness.
This should be headline news, an abject failure if they weren’t afraid of the B word
