1. To this day conservatives still say,

   “climate change ain’t real cuz they said the ozone layer was doomsday and nothing even happened”

   Ummm yea cuz the whole world got together and banned the mass use of chemicals destroying the ozone layer???

   But now destroying the planet makes them feel manly or whatever, which is weird cuz I thought they hated gender affirming care

2. This animation shows a divet in the atmosphere at the tropics/equator. Is that what this guy is talking about: ozone depletion at the equator?

   if you look at nasa’s ozone watch: the dark blue is hard to see clearly because the focus is on either pole, but you can definitely see the equator is a darker blue….?

   but yes, when we work together we can reduce ozone depleting substances I agree wholeheartedly :)!
