Hello everyone! I need help from anyone who knows or lives in Kristiansand. Tomorrow I want to go camping with my tent. In the area you see in the picture
Because I read that further down near the lake 1,2 and 3 is forbidden
I want to know. Can I camp in the area marked on the map? I was walking around there today and there were not many people
It would be for 2 nights as allowed by law
But I don't want to disrespect or anything like that. That's why I want to be sure
I searched for information but could not find anything about it
Thank you very much to those who read me and can help me!

No you cant camp there. Water reservoar for the city.
Why?
Not familiar with the area in particular, but doesn’t look like cultivated land so as long as you are 150 meters away from the nearest inhabited house, don’t leave a mess and observe any local bans on open fires (not an issue this time of year) it should be fine.
Can I ask why you would like to camp at this spot? Not exactly a place where you normally see people setting up tents. Usually people go further into Jegersberg, or somewhere like that.
I think the new(ish) rules makes this legal, Baneheia south of Bånetjønn is not.
I would maybe go a few hundred meters north towards Bervannet.
Enjoy your stay, even getting some nice weather the next days.
Nit entirely sure about the camping rules there, byt if you want to stay away from the most frequent foot paths people walk on, they are on the map here. https://www.kristiansand.kommune.no/navigasjon/bolig-kart-og-eiendom/plan-og-bygg/kart/turkart/
I think that is still part of the reserved area. But if you go a bit further along that path you’ll find bærvannet where it’s perfectly okay to camp
