My reward for helping the vending machine man in work carry in a few boxes. Happy Friday.

  1. It is the king of bars. It’s crazy how old it is too, made by J. S. Fry & Sons in 1929. It’s like something from the 90’s, with all the latest technology in chocolate confectionery. I doubt we’ll see another like it in my lifetime…

  2. I could murder a crunchie now , it’s years since I had one. In fact I’m going to walk to the shop to get one now. 🙂

  3. Probably just the angle but that’s how the bars used to look. Used to take me two go’s to finish a Mars bar. I miss the 90s

  4. Always be nice to the vending machine man! When ours takes out the stuff about to expire, if he likes you he will give it to you but if he doesn’t, he will take it away for dumping

  5. Ooo didn’t know Ireland had these! They are very popular in New Zealand (but hard to find in the United States), so my relatives from NZ were always very very happy when an import candy store had them.

  6. One of my fondest memories as a kid in the 80’s was my dad coming home on Fridays after work with some chipper and some Crunchies for me and and my brother and sisters.
    Golden times.

  7. You’re lucky, back in the 90s I worked in a place that had been closed down for a year to to the public and we’d been asking Coca-Cola for a long time to come and remove their vending machine.

Eventually someone turned up to remove the machine and he gave us a load of the bottles from that machine.

    The contents were….. gloopy.
