Reading this I am pretty sure you have no idea how Lidl operates. Lidl could not exist without exploiting gaps that other players cannot fill. Also, many of their products are pretty low quality. In Malta it only isn’t that obvious because local chains offer lots of low quality products as well or have longer storage cycles which lowers the quality dramatically. Many local chains also have severe management problems, meaning they are likely by far not as profitable.
