  20. The thing people need to realize is that yes this isn’t a hard definition of the government violating free speech and yes private companies can do as they like. But the FCC pressuring companies and likely threatening regulatory attacks if they don’t comply is essentially the closest thing that skirts the line. Do as we say or we will try to ruin you financially? That is appalling. And for conservatives celebrating it really isn’t a win. When power swings back you are now risking anything even remotely conservative and offensive getting the same treatment. Revoking visas/passports, ruining careers, ignoring when the right uses violent rhetoric on Fox? How you advocate for being a proponent of free speech and supporting all that is hilarious. Anyone right wing cannot be taken deeply serious if they support this stuff and claim to support free speech. If the economy keeps going down like it is, Trump’s popularity remains what it is or lower, and stuff like this occurs, you pretty much lost the midterms and in 2028 you have a big storm coming when the pendulum swings the other way and retaliation occurs. And no one is going to feel bad for you
