  1. Why would anyone give a fuck about Charlie Kirks death in the uk? Well outside the Trump-cock-puppet club at least.

  2. If only Torfaen Council had regulated guns in Utah, then maybe this wouldn’t have happened

  3. These are the same people who will moan about any protest involving Palestine in Wales on the grounds that Wales seemingly has nothing to do with it.

Performative wank. Why should I shed a tear for Kirk over the victims of the school shooting that occurred on the same day?

  4. Remember when Congress held a minute’s silence for Hefin David recently?

    No me neither.

Why the fuck would a Welsh council mention the death of an American influencer?

  5. What about having a minutes silence for the 2 kids killed in a school shooting that happened on the same day.

  6. Did he trip over his massive shoes in disbelief as he left that meeting? Because he’s clearly a clown.

  7. Even Trump didn’t give a shit and was more interested in the construction work going on at the White house (or wherever the fuck he was).

The fact that this guy has done and said this just shows exactly what reform are all about. They are more interested in the goings on in America than they are in actually staying at a meeting and doing their job. They are paid lackeys, and its an embarrassment.

  8. Had anyone in the council even heard of Charlie Kirk before his death? For most people outside the US their first response on hearing about it was “Who’s Charlie Kirk?”.

  9. I am sure Torfaen council meetings are the poorer for him walking out.

Perhaps he could go up Twmbarlem and do a vigil or something?

At lest up there no one’d have to put up with the attention seeking bufoon.

  10. Same guy who pretended to open a Lidel that was already open

  11. I bet he didn’t even know Charlie Kirk’s name before. Just read tweets about it and got angry.

  12. Big fat dumb American here, did many people in Wales or in the UK broadly have any idea who he wa

  13. Who the frick is David Thomas?

Google search says he’s…”the group leader of Reform UK in Wales”

Group leader…hmm I’m sure a certain German party had ranks like that.

Edit: I’m well aware that being a group leader is a real thing in the UK and isn’t directly related to the certain German party. It’s just satire.

  14. 95% of Americans wouldn’t be able to point to Wales on a map. Fact.

  15. How has a shooting in a Utah usa have anything to do with a small Welsh town community

  16. It’s bizarre how many people act like we’re officially a 51st state

  17. If we mentioned every time there was a murder in America we’d never have time to talk about anything else!
In Charlie Kirk’s own words “It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment.” Tbf to the guy he practiced what he preached.

  18. It looks like he deleted the tweet. I could find replies but not the actual tweet itself.

  19. Had never even heard of him until he was killed and glad that I hadn’t the amount of hate he spouted out.

Why would a council meeting in Wales even mention this guy.

  20. This man would call out the ‘assassination’ of Hitler if he was around in the ’40s.

  21. What a knob, what the fuck has any of that shit got to do with Wales?

  22. They constantly victimise others yet play the victim at the earliest opportunity.

You’ll never reason with these people.

  23. American politics has no place in Wales, yes the Charlie Kirk shooting was awful but why does everyone act like he was the messiah?

  24. For a moment, I wondered if it was satire. Is this a real?

  25. Did he also kick off when no one mentioned the politically motivated assassination of a Democratic leader and her husband back in June?

  26. Have they mentored the 100+ school shootings that have happened in America since the new year?

  27. What a tosser, not everything has to be about the U.S, especially running a council in the UK.

  28. Councillor Thomas has made clear that the lives of other people (such as the Democrat politician mentioned above or children murdered on the same day in the same country) are simply worth much less than the life of Mr. Kirk.

Doubtless these statements from the councillor will be highlighted prominently next time he wants to be elected.

  29. I think all death is regrettable, but I only mourn for those that I know. There is so much senseless violence in this world that I cannot give each of them the time that I am sure they deserve because then I would spend my entire life mourning people I have never met, whose lives I would otherwise have been unaware of.

If you want to mourn somebody, you are more than welcome to. Go right ahead, no one will stop you; but don’t be upset at someone because they don’t mourn a person who lived across the sea, who they didn’t know and whose life didn’t affect them.

TL;DR: – I would be upset if a local council weren’t mourning one of their resident’s killed in senseless violence, or someone who went to school there, or was otherwise connected to the area. As far as I am aware, Charlie Kirk had no links to Torfaen, and so I am not surprised they didn’t mourn him.
