It’s pretty obvious how multinational companies profit off of the crisis, why is nobody doing anything about it? Dutch government bribed by Shell to look away? EU bureaucrats aswell? I guess a high ranking politician would “dissappear”, if he tried to do anything about it, right?
Shell et al war profitteering again. Color me surprised. Any government want to step in? No? Are the corporations getting too big? No, too late they are already too big.
The only thing that changed is profit margins.
There isn’t really a shortage, just the risk of a shortage.
I don’t really understand people anymore. Do we want to extract more oil or less? If we pressure companies not to extract more fossil fuel while at the same time not reducing demand, it’s obvious that due to supply demand mechanics prices will go up.
