These are not viper patterns. That’s a generic water snake, doesn’t belong in any of the categories given above.
Head shape indicazes that its venomous, and tge only venomous ones in austria are the nose horned viper and the crossed viper, so i guess its one of those, but dont quote me on that
Put it on the street and see if it causes a car accident. If so, it is probably a cobra.

Nach dem es in Österreich nur Nattern mit runden Pupillen gibt, würde ich auf Grund der Zeichnung Würfelnatter sagen.
Auch die stark gekieleten Schuppen weisen auf eine Würfelnatter hin.
Du könntest eventuell bei r/snakes nachfragen. (Unbedingt auch den Fundort angeben!)
Die können dir vermutlich am besten sagen was für eine Schlange das ist.

yep, that one looks dangerous, definitly not a common snake in austria, i agree to vipernatter which is native to france, spain and stuff, but not austria, actually its not venomous but its stare is menacing, also i‘m quite sure its not a würfelnatter or kreuzotter because of its pattern and headshape
