    “Here I am, got myself a vest, not too shabby… Got a helmet too, ain’t bad at all… Fuck knows whose they were… But ours for sure… Probably took them off 200 or 300… God bless those guys, since their things are being put to good use here…”

  9. Imagine going to war, supplied with no gear. Thrown to the frontline, having to loot armor off of dead comrades only to hang it from your belt like a keyfob instead of using it.

  22. What’s the point of them wearing armor at all if they aren’t really evacing their wounded anyway? Why not just fight lighter?
