I was visiting Hampstead Heath today, and looking at the view of the London skyline I realised that I cannot recognise this building which from this angle looks like a pyramid. But as far as I recall there are no pyramids in London. What is it?

  1. It’s the Bass Pro Shop in Memphis, somehow teleported here

  2. Great – you had to ask didn’t you? Now you’re on a list.

  3. I think it’s called Giza. Takes 4 and a half hours to get there from Heathrow, which is pretty decent for a South London location.

  4. It’s the great pyramid of Giza. It just looks smaller because it’s far away

  5. Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Great photo zoom skills

  6. I believe that to be the roof of Nova South, 160 Victoria Street. The particular angle that you’re viewing it from makes it appear to be a pyramid.

  7. Could be a new building near nine elms perhaps? The area it could be in is pretty narrow

  8. Looks to be in the direction of Victoria Station and there are a couple buildings close to Victoria Station that may fit the bill.

  9. You know how they say you can see France from London on a clear day?

    It’s the Louvre
