  1. Insane how war has developed and created new (needed) defensive measures.

  2. I wonder if hanging thin threads from the roof net would add additional benefit. Right now if a drone finds an entry there is no defense inside. But dangling threads would entangle the rotors.

  3. Can they hang this stuff in front of buildings, I mean at least city streets, to protect people?

  4. I bet this is heaven for them, just driving without a threat from the evil enemy. 💙 God bless the defenders

  5. You know the battle lines aren’t material changing when combatants are able to construct defenses as intricate as these.

  6. Pretty.

Wouldn’t do much against a timed remote detonation, but it probably works good enough as a deterrent against unskilled operators.

  7. isn’t it trvial for one drone to explode a hole into the net, and then for other drones to fly through that hole?

  8. This netting is likely going to end up in our oceans, snaring 100 year old sea turtles and other marine wildlife. We are so fucking cooked.

  9. In peacetime, I would totally string this with Christmas lights and a few lasers and drive down it listening to some chill house or trance music.

  10. The way sunlight reflects.. it looks like a Star Trek forcefield.

  11. I can’t even put a fucking net over a shrub without it turning into a tangled mess. I’m kind of impressed.
