A Cancard isn’t a legally recognised card. Medical cannabis is a controlled substance and having it in the original container + your prescription on it is legally sufficient for it to not be seized. It is shocking the amount of misinformation on this subject from both news reporters and the police.
This is like the same dumbass situation in the early 2000’s when dispensaries we’re getting busted in America by the fed and DEA, but they were licensed to sell under state laws.

Severe nerve damage leading to chronic neuropathic pain in right leg from injury.
They are happy to keep me on heavy opiates that would knock an elephant out but frankly are ineffective due to body becoming tolerant.
Shit situation
Anyone with a medical condition where cannabis can aid helping the symptoms should apply for a Cancard, it’s supposed to help with situations like this.
