  1. Few cans in the offo and a bag cheaper than a night out in town anyway.

  2. Drugs are actually cheaper and as someone pointed out less calories lol, and more bang for your buck.

  3. Young people are drinking less, people are doing coke more.

This ‘drink being replaced by drugs” conversation that’s on here everyweek is such nonsense

Coke is very expensive and the people on it typically are drinking

  4. Good coke is the job, haven’t taken it in years but when it’s good it’s great, some buzz off it. People take coke for the same reasons people drink, it can be fun & you’ll talk shit all night & some people love that carry on.

  5. I am an addict in recovery. Not coke btw.

Others I see at meetings are all “dry sniffing”, it’s a huge epidemic at least in NI that doesn’t get enough attention

  6. Sad cases. And wait until the long-term effects kick in. That said, I don’t drink out anymore – the greedy prices are taking the piss.

  7. I will never understand irish people and drugs because let me tell you if I did coke or smoked etc my mother would have literally shot me.

  8. I wish we could normalize weed as much as we normalize coke

  9. It’s quite tragic. I’ve got friends and family breathing the shit like its air. The hometown is absolutely infested with this stuff, it’s better in Dublin..

  10. What a shame. In my experience coke makes people into assholes. Sativa dominant weed, mushrooms and MDMA are all far superior ways to spend your recreational time. Everything in moderation too!

  11. If they knew how it worked, they wouldn’t touch it. Add it to the list of things that should be on the school curriculum.

  12. It’s also crazy how reports and consumer evidence are saying how easy it is to order online.

  13. If they think coke as drug has been normalised wait till ya hear about drink!!!

  14. This is a direct consequence of making drink so expensive that Coke is a direct substitute for it in terms of price over a night.

It’s frightening the behaviour I see from friends and strangers as a student.
